LAW ON REAL ESTATE LAW ACTIVITY ASSOCIATIONS (GHFDK)

Article 1:

The purpose of this Law is to regulate the establishment, functioning, duties and powers and membership principles of associations operating in the field of real estate law; to increase information sharing, legal awareness and professional solidarity in the sector; to define the responsibilities and rights of these associations serving in the public interest. This Law covers all associations operating on real estate law within the borders of Turkey. Definitions

Article 2:

In this Law

a) Association: A non-governmental organisation established to carry out real estate law activities,

b) Member: Real or legal persons registered to the association in accordance with the principles specified in the bylaws of the association,c) Board of Directors: The most authorised executive body of the Association,d) General Assembly: The highest decision-making body of the Association. Article 3:

A real estate law association may be established by the gathering of at least 7 real persons. In the statute prepared for the establishment of the association, the name, centre, purpose, fields of activity, sources of income, membership conditions and organs of the association shall be clearly stated.
